What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Overall I’ve been working on my strength and improving my speed, as a team we are always working to get better.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“My pass rush, I lead my team and the district in sacks, but I feel like that is a big focus of my offseason, wrestling helps a lot with my technique and quality.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Obviously coming off a state championship, our team and the younger guys are always ready to compete. I think the team will reload and come with some firepower. I’d never count out a Lewis Central team.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“There isn’t a lot of games we circle on our schedule, but I think Harlan will always be tough, since they’re our rival.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“To be honest I’m not sure, yet there’s a lot of great linemen across the state.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I love football, but I think I’ll try and wrestle in college.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t been talking to many colleges, I have some camps lined up.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Again, as a guy on the come up, without the biggest size, I have to recruit myself the strongest.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“A lot of camps lined up.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, a lot of camps lined up.”

What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“Northwestern, Nebraska, a mega camp, and Dordt.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Nebraska.”
