How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“We didn’t start off the season how we wanted to but I think beating Jefferson puts our heads back in a positive direction.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I think there’s some small details that I can work on to make myself better and become the athlete I see myself being.”
How do you feel your team has played?
“To be honest I was questioning my O-line because they are all underclassmen but that hasn’t been a problem lately because they’ve been getting a lot better and I think the rest of the team is now going in the right direction.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I think we can improve on getting better with the small details that hold this team back from going from good to even better.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I think we can talk more when on defense because who wouldn’t be scared of 11 guys screaming on defense?”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’d like to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been talking to Upper Iowa, Simpson College, Mankato, Central College, Grandview, Midland University, Morningside football, Augustana football and I'm so grateful to have them looking at me.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Grandview has been looking at me the most out of all the colleges.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve taken visits up to William Penn and Upper Iowa.”
Do you have plans for game day trips?
“My plan for game day visits is probably to get to know the coaches and some of the players and learn about their facility to see if it’s somewhere I would go.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I didn’t really have a favorite college team growing up but when I moved to Iowa it had to be the University of Iowa because I had liked watching Tyler Woodson play.”
