What was keeping you busy this off-season with workouts?
“AAU obviously in July. Then I went to three different elite camps at Sioux Falls, Colgate, and the University of Missouri St. Louis.”
How did the AAU season go?
“I’d say it went really well. I was happy with how my AAU career ended.”
How do you believe your team will be this season?
“I feel we’ll be really strong. We lose a couple of seniors that will hurt but we have a chance to be really good with the talent we have coming back.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017-2018?
“I am not 100% sure about our schedule. We kind of went out of a conference and we are playing a lot of different teams in 2A and 3A. We are definitely going to play a lot of good teams this year.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have an offer from Dordt College right now. Then there are some other NAIA schools like Morningside, Briar Cliff, and then Division II schools like USF and the University of Missouri St. Louis. Colgate actually has been emailing me recently as well.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say Dordt right now considering they offered. They talk to me quite a bit. I am taking a visit there in September.”
When do you want to make a final decision?
“I am thinking more during the senior season.”
