How did the football season go for your team?
“We started off playing two tough 4A teams. I think if we had a few plays that have gone our way during the season, it would be different. We had a few losses here and there against some pretty tough top notch teams in 3A.”
What did your team improve on the most?
“Again this season, our defense is really stout. I feel we had a lot of senior leaders. We had a lot last year but this year I think we did that even more. Our offensive and defensive lines played great.”
What are your workout plans now?
“I am still in wrestling and then I’ll be going out for track and baseball. I am ready to hopefully get another varsity spot in wrestling and see where it goes.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“There are a lot of IIAC schools like Coe and Wartburg. Upper Iowa is there, a little from Northern State, then more schools in the Northern Sun, St. Ambrose, Lindenwood in St. Louis, and there are a lot of other smaller schools around here.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Right now, it is pretty much Coe and Wartburg. They have talked to me most recently. There is also Upper Iowa and St. Ambrose.”
Do you have any plans for fall game day trips?
“I was supposed to go to Upper Iowa two weeks ago but our game got changed. Hopefully I will make it back up there. I went to Wartburg and I am going to Coe. Hopefully I can get up to St. Johns and St. Thomas.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“We’ve always been Hawkeye fans. Go Hawks.”
