Is the barn ready?

I’m giving bama the light at the end of the tunnel on this one.

I expect to see more of the same every time we play in that God-forsaken airplane hangar disguised as an airplane hangar...

  • Alabama free-throw rate: 41.7% (18th)
  • Auburn free-throw rate against: 36.8% (265th)
  • Advantage: Alabama
Not only have the Tigers struggled in allowing teams to get to the line this season, but as they're well aware, Alabama usually does so a lot in this series in Tuscaloosa. In the past five meetings in Coleman Coliseum, Alabama has shot 37, 29, 29, 31 and 35 free throws against Auburn. The Crimson Tide have already shot 30 or more free throws in 10 games this season. The Tigers don't want foul trouble to be a storyline in this game yet again.

Funny how they get all the calls their way in this series. It’s as if some crooked alumni have paid off the refs.

Sounds like you need to tell yellerwood to stop buying stupid yellow outfits and properly invest in his program! 🤣
He’s funneling $millions into NIL but paying off refs is a bridge too far for most sensible and decent fans in our country -even if it means losing a big game to the evil empire across the state. AU is used to bama and their need for a “fair advantage”, as Mal Moore once said.

Crazy to think that a 1 vs 2 match-up between these 2 schools is happening in round ball.

Now go adjust the late fouls where bama is behind (go figure) and desperate to stop the clock hacking any and everyone with the ball. Without those bama has a 22% average advantage in trips to the free throw line.

Absolutely astonishing!

Officials are bi-polar in how they’ve called this first half. First 6-7 minutes they let it be extremely physical, then had a stretch of calling everything, then have allowed the last few minutes to be extremely physical again.

AU is playing well and getting good looks. Sears has gone full retard for Bama, and Bama has been missing the open looks we’ve gotten.

I couldn’t agree more.
They had to draw blood to call a foul in the first half. The second was pathetic considering how they had established the calls.
