How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“It’s been great. Our team has some good chemistry which will be essential in helping us win football games.”
Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I was disappointed with my performance in week 1, and I felt that week 2 was better but not nearly my best.”
How do you feel your team has played?
“Week 1 we didn’t play a good game, but we improved in week 2. I know there’s a lot of room for improvement if we want to reach our full potential.”
What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I think we can all work on our blocking and tackling. Route timing also needs a little work.”
What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I think we need to look to air the ball out more because in my personal opinion, we have a great passing game this year.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes I would like to play football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been looked at and contacted by some D2 schools like UMary, Minnesota Duluth, and Sioux Falls and some D3 schools like Wartburg and Coe. Coach Dodson from St. Thomas also messaged me, and Coach Scheelhaase from Iowa State said he’ll try to attend a game after my performance at their June 9th camp.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Minnesota Duluth and Sioux Falls have been recruiting me the hardest.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not.”
Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I’ve had a couple invites to Coe and Wartburg, but I’m not sure if I’ll be able to attend.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes I’ve always been an Iowa fan.”
