How is the basketball season going?
“The basketball season has had our ups and downs. We never get too high on the ups and the downs. We’re ready to bounce back the next day and get at it.”
What can your team improve on?
“Our team has one main focus and that is to fix our second quarters. Sometimes, we let the team go on a run. We need to be the team on the run instead.”
How has been the adjustment to varsity basketball?
The adjustment has been easy for me for the most part. The upperclassmen on the team were very open to me and I appreciate what they have done for me to get where I’m at today. The coaches have trust in me with the ball in any situation that the game brings. That is something I don’t take for granted.”
Based on results so far, who appears to be the best team in your conference?
“Aplington-Parkersburg. They have a great coaching staff and athletes to go with it. They try to pick you apart, but they are very beatable. Dunkerton has beat them before, so we are ready to get them.”
Do you want to play basketball in college?
“I want to play sports in college. Baseball and basketball being my two choices.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have had colleges showing interest. I am at the beginning stage of college recruitment.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I will be participating in varsity baseball, travel baseball with Perfect Game Iowa Select, and some AAU basketball tournaments so camps will be very limited.”

“My current favorite college is Texas Christian University.”
