How did the spring and summer go for you with basketball?
“It went pretty well. I played with SW Iowa impact out of the council bluffs area. Coach Isaacson runs a great program out of there, and I had a really good experience with them. I got the chance to play against some really good competition and play in front of college coaches.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“My workout plans going forward are going to be more heavily focused on becoming a better shooter. I didn’t shoot the ball as well as I wanted to last season so I want to improve that.”
How do you feel your team will do next basketball season?
“I think we should do well. We play in the Hawkeye Ten which is always a tough conference, but we have a few more guys on our team this year with varsity experience so that should help us out. I’m also excited about our young guys on the team and how they will progress throughout the season.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think Harlan will be our toughest team on the schedule this year. They have some very good athletes on their team and are always very well coached.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I would say Connor Frame from Harlan is the toughest player we will face off against this season. He’s a very gifted athlete and he really shoots the ball well.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes. I’d like to continue my athletic career into college and play basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t had any colleges recruit me so far.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes. I’ve been to Central College, Buena Vista, and Emporia State.”
Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“I plan on taking a trip to University of Central Missouri in October for an Elite camp.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes I did. Growing up I was a big Kansas fan because they were a really good team and not very far away from us here in Iowa.”
