How did basketball go this off-season?
“It went really good. As a team, we started playing really well together. We have a lot of new guys who stepped in. For me personally. I stepped up as a leader.”

What have you improved on the most since last basketball season?
“Last year I was more of a spot up shooter. This summer, I worked on my pull up jumper and shooting off the dribble.”

How do you feel your high school team will be this winter?
“I think we’ll be tough. The conference is tough but we can compete, play hard, and hopefully win some games.”

What is the toughest game on your schedule?
“Both Dubuque schools are pretty good and have a lot back. Cedar Falls with AJ (Green) and Iowa City West is always good. I am looking forward to playing them.”

Do you want to play college basketball?
“Yeah, it is. I have been talking to some Division IIs like Upper Iowa recently.”

What are some of the colleges that have been showing you attention?
“Upper Iowa, Coe, and Simpson. Those are the three right there that have been talking to me a lot.”

What college is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say Simpson is after me the hardest. I talk to them quite a lot.”

Have you made any recent college visits or do you have any planned?
“I visited Upper Iowa, Simpson, and I’ll visit Coe soon.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I’ve always rooted for Iowa. That would be the dream school.”
