“The thing that really sticks out is our line. The line has a lot of new kids. We have a lot of kids stepping up and doing alright. We have had a couple of rough patches. Our run game needs to improve a little.”
What do you know about your next opponent in Gilbert?
“Honestly last year, they were really good but I think they lost a lot. They have lost to some teams that I heard they should have beaten. They are turning into more of a passing team, which has not been their strong suit.”
What are the keys for your team to be successful?
“A major key for us is we need to be more settled. We need to start off stronger out of the gate. We are starting slow. We have to be more aggressive and attack.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have two kind of offers. Simpson offered me a roster spot and Briar Cliff offered me something. I am taking a visit to Simpson on the 23rd. I am going to Central for basketball. Then on the 28th, I am going to Northwest Missouri State for football and then Upper Iowa for football. I am trying to get to Sioux Falls and Doane for basketball.”

“Just not really. I am just keeping an open mind.”

“I’d probably say Sioux Falls (for basketball). For football, I’d say Simpson.”
