How did the football season go for your team?
“We were 7-3 and just missed the playoffs.”
What are your workout plans now going forward?
“As a team, we lift and condition throughout the summer. Throughout the year, I lift individually three or four times a week.”
What are you trying to improve on the most this off-season?
“I am working on my accuracy and decision making as a quarterback. My deep ball has been inconsistent.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“Next season has a lot of promise as we return many of our key players at skill positions. We need to fill some spots on the line and at linebacker. I think we will contend for the district title and hopefully continue deep into the playoffs.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2018?
“The toughest test on our schedule for next year is probably Newel-Fonda or Remson St Mary’s. We are in a tough district that also includes West Bend Mallard, Kingsley Pierson, and Harris Lake Park, so most of our games will be a test.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I haven’t really thought about playing sports in college. If I did, it would probably be basketball.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I haven’t really been recruited for football, but I’ve received a few letters in the mail about going to camps and stuff.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college trips yet.”
What camps are you going to this summer?
“I’m not sure if I’ll go to any of the camps because I also play baseball and in a basketball league every weekend.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up, I’ve always cheered for Iowa. Go Hawks.”
