What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“I have early morning football workouts, then I am on the field with our QB and other guys. We get out there every extra hour we have. I lift almost every day, sometimes twice a day.”
What do you feel you have improved on most this off-season?
“Blocking from the TE position, coming out of my breaks at the WR spot, and learning all of the skill roles in our offense.”
How do you feel your team will do this football season?
“Undefeated.”
What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Our schedule is very competitive across the board, so we are preparing ourselves for that.”
Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“There isn’t a single player that comes to mind that I think will give our team a hard time. There is a lot of talent that we will play against so there will be a lot of talented players we will face off against this upcoming season.”
Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I plan on playing football in college.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“UNI, Iowa, SDSU, North Dakota, Northern Illinois, Indiana State, and a handful of others.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“The amount of contact that I maintain with different schools/programs varies week to week.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I have. All of my trips have made me realize that there is a lot more to the decision than just a logo or branding. All of the schools I have taken a trip to have great programs and academics in different ways.”
Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“Yes, I do, I am planning for some in late July.”
Have you done any camps this off-season? How do you feel you performed?
“Yes, I have done many camps, I feel the first camp was a very good learning experience and prepared me for what was to come. I think I performed to the best of my ability in every camp I have attended so far.”
Do you have any plans for camps ahead?
“Right now, I have one more at the end of July at UNI. I am trying to get more right now.”
Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I am an Iowa native so all of the Iowa schools I was a big fan of. My mom and dad both graduated from Iowa, but my mom works at ISU and my dad went to undergrad at ISU while my sister plays basketball at UNI.”
