What have you been doing as of late to stay busy?
“We had AAU and I’ve been working out with the guys three days a week. I am trying to get into the gym and keep our team chemistry up.”
How did the AAU season go?
“I played with Tryons Gym and I felt we had a solid team. We competed at high levels and won a few tournaments. It was really nice to play with those guys.”
How do you believe your team will be next season?
“I think we’ll be solid. We only lost three seniors. We’ll be solid again this year.”
What is the toughest game on your schedule for 2017?
“Pocahontas, Newell-Fonda, and East Sac are the three big conference games. We want to repeat as conference champions and those are the three major ones.”
What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Buena Vista, Central, and I have gotten some letters from Wayne State, Northwestern, Nebraska-Wesleyan, and that is about it now.”
What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Right now, definitely Buena Vista is showing me the most attention.”
Have you made any college trips yet?
“I plan to take visits this upcoming fall. The coaches want me to be there when their team is there to meet some of their guys.”
