How excited are you for the basketball season getting underway?
"I am very excited because last year didn’t end how I wanted it to. This year we have been working hard every single day. We all have to come into practice with a focus. We have to practice being the best team every single day.”

What are your thoughts on your opener against Pella Christian?
"Last year we lost to them in the season opener. They have a really strong guard in Levi Jungling. We have to contain him. He does it all for the team. If we can contain him, we have a chance.”

What else do you know about their players?
"David Kacmarynski tore his ACL last year. He is a big guy and we are lacking size now. We have to keep him off the glass.”

What are the keys to your team having success overall?
"I think our biggest key to success is playing as a team, moving the ball, communicating with each other, and working hard. We have to come with that focus every day.”

What sold you on Minnesota Crookston?
“I visited their campus and it felt like it was the right fit for me. I really liked the campus and the professors. I feel like the coaches are changing the culture and I really wanted to be a part of it.”

Are any others still recruiting you?
“No, they haven't been.”
