Team Strengths:
Seven returning letter winners, depth, and size
Question Marks:
Who will step up into the scoring role
Overview:
Lewis Central may be known mainly as a wrestling school but after finishing 17-6
last year, the Titans are doing some very good things on the basketball court.
Three starters who were the top scorers on the team from last season are now
graduated. With that trio gone, a number of players must step up and prove
that they can score. As with most teams, this is a huge question that much
be answered early in the year if the team can improve on their record. One
thing that this Lewis Central team does have is size. With players at
6-foot-4, 6-foot-6, 6-foot-7, and 6-foot-8, there will be few teams in Iowa
bigger than the Titans.
