Cody Blake, Springville. Ran for 650 yards and 9 touchdowns while averaging 9 ypc as the No. 2 back behind Nissen. Now that he'll be getting the bulk of the carries, he could have a monster year (although I admit, I don't know what the Orioles bring back on the O-Line).
Conner Holmes of MMC is a back that ran for almost 1200 yards last year from the fullback position, he split carries with Derek erdman who also ran for 1100 yards, both return for MMC.
I will throw in Zach Evans from Coon Rapids-Bayard in the pot. had a really solid soph year last year with a bunch of guys up front coming back. I'd expect really big things from him this year.
Ik it is bad to look ahead but a week 2 match up that gets my eye that has a bunch of possible break through players in it is MMC vs Coon Rapids bayard. You look at some promising running backs for both of these teams with Holmes, (who maybe back at full back this year?) Vs Evans from CRB. I think that'll be a fun one. Also someone who hasn't gotten a lot of publicity but, how about this Jacob Spieler kid from MMC. As I understand he is the younger brother of Dylan Spieler , last years stud QB and safety from MMC. I hear they are similar. Jacob could be one to watch as well if he has the same speed and play making ability as his older brother. I feel like this game will have a lot of underrated talent in it from both teams on both sides of the ball.

Ethan Steinbronn from West Central. I know he's playing basketball in college, but I see him passing for a lot of yards this year. He has very solid guys to throw to including Tyson Decker, Matt Langel, and Dustin Gordon.
Projected Stats:
Passing: 148/281, 2132 yds, 34 tds.
Rushing: 56 att, 348 yds, 7 tds
Team: 8-1 and a district championship
