going to be a fun game! two very good teams going at it, but at the end of the day MMC will be MMC, a dominant defense that swarms to the ball and an explosive offense that can hit with multiple players. they make it back to the state championship.

I think MMC has too much at the skill positions for Glidden to match up with. Glidden might be the biggest and one of the most physical teams in state but how will that size match up with a team that has skill and can spread them out and get athletes in space. Glidden hasn't seen a team like this all year. I hope this is a really good game but I have a feeling if MMC's defense comes to play this could get to be real lopsided by the final whistle. Hope I am wrong though!

Both teams have a lot of talent and I believe it will be a good game. With Glidden, I have a concern about their tackling and if they will be able to take down Specht. Glidden has the size but I don't know if I believe that they are the most physical team in the State. They said the same thing about Glidden last year and MMC showed more physicality in their round two match up. My worry with MMC is their secondary and protecting the pass. I don't know if that will come into play in this match up

Not saying they are the most physical but from what I have heard they are one of the most. Will they be more physical than MMC...time will tell. I just think in a game like this where MMC clearly has the better athletes in Specht, Spieler and Erdman, they wont be able to match up athletically. Size wise they are both big but having better athletes behind those big kids gives them the edge I think, especially with arguably the best player in state outside of Girres.
