Playoff Rematch History

This is probably something I can look up back to 1972. Someone else posted on another page that it would be interesting what the regular season and playoff outcomes would look like.

However where do you start and do I just limit it to class 4a, or just to the teams people are more interested in. However I can start with Cedar Falls.

CF is 8-0 in the playoffs when winning the regular season game.

With the exception 2004 with Wahlert and 2013 with CR Wash. The score was almost the same or lower points scored.

5 times when CF lost the regular season game it won the rematch.

4 Times CF lost regular season match the lost the rematch.

With the exception on 2017 CF lost by more.
1994,1995 and 2012 the score was close to the same as the regular season score.

So playing against CF if you lose the regular season the chances so far have been 0 chance you will win the rematch. This is a streak that will end someday.

If you beat CF in the regular season, their is a 40% chance you can beat them in the playoffs.

This is complicated as I have not even cross references the away games and the UNI Dome.
