Playoff Predictions!

It could, will depend on how the state wants to pair the teams up. Last year didn't the get away from sister districts and just open it up and pair off of record within a certain geography?
Looks like HLV will be district champs and Colo Nesco will be playing Moravia for runner up in District 5. In District 8 Boyer Valley beat ArWeVa last night so they will be runner up. ArWeVa still has a chance if they beat Audubon but thats not gonna happen. Both of those would switch up your playoff match ups a little bit.
If they keep the sister districts it would pry look like this you think?

If they switch it up I could see something like this. With travel times all under 2 hours. But this is only switching CN and Jville. With travel times I just dont see them getting away from sister districts.

I enjoyed the analysis buck! I would agree with a lot of it and with two weeks left, still plenty that can be decided. I just don’t see Audubon playing Newell-Fonda. I think district 8 would end up playing district 7. I don’t see the association setting up three of the better teams all with a chance to play each other in the first two rounds. Could be very wrong in that though.
If the state wants to get the best teams to the Dome, I would like to see the first round pairings look like this:

If they're not going to simply match up districts, I doubt the state would intentionally pair HLV vs. Iowa Valley in the 1st round since they's already met this fall.
Sidney is next in rankings behind NF, Remsen, and Audubon. Its not like Sidney isn't a top ten team. 3 common opponents with Audubon, comparable scores.
Unfortunately geography could come into play and not allow as of now the top 4 teams to make the dome. With three of those teams in western Iowa, it makes it tough. That's why I would love to see 2nd round games at neutral sites to maybe eliminate some of that. Two more weeks to go, the picture could easily still change. Playoff predictions part 2 will come out Wednesday night.

Hard to say how good Baxter really is. Lost to RSM by 63 and have played all the teams in the second worst district. I would agree that they are good enough to make the playoffs but would not even come close to making it to the dome. Unless they only have to go through District 4 and 5 teams to get there.
2nd to worst district doesn't seem to have been the case.i know doesnt really matter but to those boys that strapped on a helmet each week it did matter.
Yea maybe not the 2nd worst. Probly 3rd worst. If I had to rank the districts from best to worst this is how I would rank them.
1. District 1- way deeper than any other district
2. District 7
3. District 8
4. District 3
5. District 6
6. District 4
7. District 2
8. District 5
