> STAFFING UPDATE:
> Due to the departure of Chad Osler in the middle school social studies teaching position, the next top candidate was Brad Bowlin, the current Lynnville-Sully 6-12 at-risk teacher. Brad has six years teaching experience in the area of middle school social studies. I offered Brad Bowlin the middle school social studies teaching position on Friday, May 1. Brad accepted the offer.

> This weekend, Mike Parkinson met with me to request a return to Lynnvile-Sully. After much thought and consideration with his wife, Mike wants to stay at L-S!! I will be recommending the school board approve withdrawal of Mike's resignation at the next school board meeting. Mike will request a transfer into the 6-12 at-risk position; seeing the position as an opportunity for professional growth, a way to connect with a larger number of middle school and high school students, and continue working with L-S students and families. Mike will also continue as head varsity football coach and boys track coach.

> Pending school board approval at the next school board meeting, Brad Bowlin will teach middle school social studies and Mike Parkinson will teach 6-12 at-risk as well as coach varsity football and boys track.
