Team Strengths:
Athleticism, quickness, and ball handling
Question Marks:
Size, shooting, and experience
Overview:
After combining as Sumner-Fredricksburg last year, the team said goodbye to four
starters. These talented players averaged over thirty points and nearly
twenty rebounds. As for what the Cougars return, only one starter is back
and his role was to get the ball to his teammates. That starter, Forrest
Winburn, averaged over four points and two assists per contest. He was not
one of the main offensive options but should see a much bigger role heading into
his junior year. Outside of him, Ryan Bergmann and Elias Randel were the
only two who played major minutes. That alone shows that this team will be
extremely inexperienced.
