All year I've said they're easily the best team that money can buy...they just weren't playing like it.

Did you and the guys from GA ever thank both of your worst enemy, FL, for their help in giving you the opportunity to play for Championships? If FL doesn’t beat Ole Miss, Ga doesn’t get to play for the SECC and Ole Miss does. If FL don’t beat Ole Miss, Ole Miss probably gets TN’s spot in the college playoffs.
Would have liked to see the ND-UGly game with Beck in as QB.... not sure if it would have made much difference as ND looked like they had an answer for everything UGly tried. Looks like the SEC takes it on the chin this year (I still have trouble with TX representing the SEC...)...

Not really. They just made clutch plays at clutch times. ND scored 17 points in 54 seconds because of our offense and special teams.

Disagree. Gave them a very short field with a sack strip and then the KO runback. Can’t remember the last time I saw Georgia give one of those up. That was the ballgame right there.

The refs had it in for UGly on some of those 'non-call' on pass interference... that was incredible. I was thinking that Kirby should tell his DBs 'do everything but pull their uniforms off...' since that's the way the refs were calling the game. Given UGly's WRs have a preponderance of dropping passes right in their hands it probably didn't matter, but Stevie Wonder could call some of those obvious PI's.

Actually OK lucked into the game. The computers or something had Ok way high over USC who they had ranked third. After that the computers were eliminated from the selection. LSU finished second in everything. The computers were the only thing OU won and the margin there was huge, enough to get OK in the game over USC. Because USC won their bowl game and OK who was #1 lost to LSU people claimed it should have been USC against Ok. I have never understood the logic of that, but the. That’s college football.
I also am not bitter over any scoreboard deal. In fact I was glad TN made tge playoffs and sorry they lost to Ohio State.
I may be mis-remembering, but I don't think anybody ever argued it should've been OK vs. USC, all of the football world wanted LSU vs USC once Oklahoma got blown out in the Big 12 Championship game. Was that the game Sproles went wild all them for Kansas St?
Also the computers were always a part of the selection after that, they just reworked the percentages. They were more heavily weighted pre-2004, and they changed it because of that 2003 season. After that the AP, Coaches, and Computers each counted 1/3.
