Listen to Potentially Historic Regina vs. Solon Game Online

Tomorrow evening, the Iowa City Regina Regals and the
Solon Spartans will face off. This game has potential of being a
historic one, not only because of the rivalry between the two squads,
but because if Iowa City Regina defeats Solon, Regina will break the
state record for consecutive games without a loss. Currently, Iowa City
Regina and Waterloo East are tied for the record at 56 consecutive
victories. With a victory tomorrow, Iowa City Regina will be the lone
record holders for this coveted record. To add irony to the situation,
the last time the Regals were defeated was in a game against Solon a few
years ago.

If you feel as if this would be a pretty exciting
game to attend, but can't make it, you can listen to this game being
broadcasted via podcast tomorrow evening at http://theregalcast.com.

How are you doing?

Man, I'm basically a dinosaur fossil on this forum. It's been years since I posted here. It's been so long that I forgot my login information. Not to mention, the email address I used to retrieve my password has since been deactivated due to being vacant for such a long time. I used to have 1500-2000 posts on here in the 1999-2004 era. Mostly in the wrestling forum.

I have a bro who is a Junior and one who is a Freshman this year. Both of them play football for Mediapolis and I'm still a huge Mediapolis homer. However, I will be helping with various football podcasts, generally around the Southeast region... I'll be at the Regina-Solon game helping them set up and what-not. Can't wait to see the game.... To my understanding, Regina is the #1 ranked team in 1A and Solon is #10 in 3A in the preseason rankings? It sounds like it can be a good one! I'm stoked, homeslice.

I'll probably be around quite a bit, again, with primary intentions of pestering you, oonfoofoo. :)

I think I messed up in the OP.

I believe the record Regina will be aiming for will be "longest streak without a loss" and not "longest winning streak." Waterloo East had a tie to either start their streak or on their 55th game (I've heard both of those).
