I just signed up for a free trial on Sling TV. Can cancel in a week with no charge. Did this last year, too. Frustrating as a basic cable Mediacom member to not get these games streaming or on TV.
Even more frustrating that the state continues to basically ignore pleas from people that actually live in Iowa to get game streaming for free, just like the girls' union.

13-7 Xavier at the half. Still can't get the game streamed, and I'm a Mediacom customer. Got part of the SBL- WD game earlier, but the premier game won't connect, even when I sign in. Xavier has scored three times to LC's once, but two were field goals. Is lineman Volk out for Xavier? He is a beast.

Ask the LC defense if anyone on that Xavier oline is overrated lol. LC was smashed up front.
Can the state TV people not find anyone better than this Bob guy. This guy is so bad you cannot mute because you want to hear the next negative stupid thing he has to say. What a jerk.
Volk isn't overrated. It's just that his strength coach / agent sends out stuff to the press ALL THE TIME. It's the same strength coach / agent for TJ Bollers. 77 is better. He was last year too. And it goes to prove that Xavier is pretty good with or without Volk. He's not the only difference maker on that team!
There are plenty of good football players in Iowa but when the agent is always feeding the media with their projects you don't hear about many of them. Some of them don't want the attention and that is fine. But when Volk and Bollers capture Elite 8 status preseason by the Des Moines Register and just so happen to have the same strength coach / agent it all seems a little too scripted. I wish they would do their homework a little bit better like Iowa Preps.
