Lance Pedersen to Mt. Vernon!?

rumor has it that Lance Pedersen has been offered the Mt. Vernon job... that means Wilton is now open along with Camanche and Eddyville-Blakesburg with Eric Kellar's departure to Knoxville... Thoughts?

My thoughts are that he wanted out of his father's District and out of Regina's 1A playoff bracket.

My thoughts are he viewed Mt Vernon as an amazing opportunity that has strong tradition. He made Wilton a consistant winner and decided to take his talents to 2A. Would be an easier transition to West Branch if that ever happens not being at a rival school. Running away from Regina, highly doubt it.

Is it confirmed that he got it? Don't think he would "run" from any team but his road to the dome at Wilton was pretty well blocked.

Not to mention that he lost a lot to graduation off of what was a pretty good team last year. Not saying he's leaving because of that, but it's definitely easier to take another job when you're no longer built to win now.
