Actually I have a good excuse. I fell again Sunday and went to the hospital. i got a black eye and broke my nose but the CT was clear, so I’m lucky again.
I maybe more than lucky. This time there was a bright young lady doctor who noticed from the continuous recorder that my heart beat fell to the low 40s at times so she run an EKG?and found that I had an irregular heart beat at times and she thought the combination could cause a brief like a second or 2 blackout. I am going to see my cardiologist and see if I can adjust my high blood pressure meds away from those that cause the low heartbeat. I’ve noticed when I sit or lie for a while I’m unsteady when I first standup

Thanks. I’m working on it. This is the first credible thought that’s been offered on my falling and I’ve been to several or more doctors about it and been in emergency wards about 5 times. Maybe my fault. I always said that I wasn’t dizzy or anything and in every case I was a awake when I hit the floor, even averting the fall or protecting my head. But I did notice sort of a brief nip a few times by didn’t think it important. Now I think it was. This has been going on for 5 years but getting worse latelt.

I had 2 skull fractures before I was 5. I have had 10 or more concussions and have fell about 9 times in the last 5 years with about 4 in the last year. I had a hematoma between membrane and skull that they had to drain and required 2 holes in my skull about 3/4-1 inch across about 6 years ago. Fortunately no bleeding has ever occurred inside the brain. a psychiatrist once told me my history especially with the skull fractures and without noticeable bleeding internally in the brain was amazing.

Last Sunday and one 10 days before. I get them everytime the head gets a lick now.
I get a body scan by a special CT annually because I have an aneurysm in my aorta. The cardiologist want an accurate measurement of its growth. So far in 3 years the growth has been negligible and almost non existent. This is the reason they went to the special CT. It’s pretty small.
To have Al this crap going on I feel really well.
