I'm picking Don Bosco 47 to 20. I think the first part of the game will be great, but see the Dons wearing them down to win it. Two well coached teams, that both play great defense. Don Bosco's versatility on offense is the difference maker. Good luck to both teams, I'm looking forward to watching you play this morning.
I got NF 35-28. Way too balanced and a team that doesn't mess up. Good luck to both teams this morning!

Bosco driving inside the Newell 15 and a tipped pass in the year picked off by Wise for Newell Fonda returned for a score. Newell 7-0
4th down pass completion for Don Bosco that goes for a 24 yard score. Two point fails. 7-6 Newell Fonda.
Newell Fonda looks lost on offense without Scheidegger and Wolterman. Havent gotten a first down yet. Great punt though pins Don Bosco inside their own 1. 9 minutes left in the 2nd.
On the punt, Wise from Newell gets hit while receiving the fair catch gives Newell first down inside the Don Bosco 30. 2 plays later interception in the endzone. Newell cant seem to get anything going on offense. Still yet to have a first down.
4th down for Don Bosco near midfield with 22 seconds left. Dropped pass that would have been 6 points if it was caught. Newell runs a play to get to half. 7-6 Newell Fonda at the half.
Don Bosco with what looks like the unintentional onside kick and recovers it to start the second half. Kicked it off the side of his foot it looked like.
Don Bosco goes right down the field after that and puts it in for a score. Sweeney should have been stopped for a short game but kept his feet moving and broke a couple tackles and ran it in from 20+ yards out. 12-7 Don Bosco.
Mangrich a long run that sets up Don Bosco 1st and Goal at the Newell Fonda 2. One play later in to the endzone. Don Bosco 18-7.
Pretty evident how much Newell misses Scheidegger and Wolterman. Cant move the ball and there have been a couple plays on defense that probably would have been stopped for short gains rather than big plays for Don Bosco. Newell needs to find something or this game could get out of hand real fast for them.
Newell has looked gassed from about midway through the second quarter. Dons have never panicked and just kept running their offense.
3 and out Newll Fonda...seems to be the theme for them this game. Would like to see the yardage difference right now between the two teams.

24-7 after 3. All Don Bosco in the 2nd half. Newell Fonda I would think needs to have a miracle happen for them to win this game. Turnovers or just a collapse by Don Bosco.
Anyone predicting NF will come back here? DB defense has been outstanding. This team/program doesn't get enough credit for how well they have done since moving to 8-Man.
3 and out again for Newell Fonda. Didn't go on 4th down. Think they have conceded this game already with 5:53 left by not trying to go for it there down 3 scores.
This was a display of complete physical dominance by the Dons. Any West side skeptics still floating around, if you watched this game you now know, DB is the real deal! 4 yards total offense by NF with 7 minutes left in the 4th quarter on a team "battle tested" out of the west!

Not knocking Don Bosco at all as they did play well today., but I would have liked to seen what Newell Fonda would have done if both Scheidegger and Wolterman were healthy and playing. Would have been a difference without a doubt. Congrats to the Dons though on winning today and advancing to play next week.
Not shocked by the outcome of this game, Don Bosco definitely was hungry for revenge and wanted to show the rest of the state that they're the real deal. Congrats to the Dons on advancing and congrats to Newell-Fonda on yet another UNI-Dome appearance.
Regardless of who wins the next semifinal game, Don Bosco will be the favorites to win the title.
They played with something to prove in the second half. NF looked gassed.
Congrats to DB! They are a solid team! Would've loved to see Wolterman and Schneidegger in there for NF, but that's football for you! Excited to see MMC and GR play
Maybe a slightly closer game with those two in but still the same end result. Bosco had 3 or 4 guys tackling the ball carrier on every play so 1 linemen wouldn't have made a difference. NF's QB's accuracy wasn't great all game either so even Randy Moss wouldn't have gotten to most of those balls.
