Jupic was obviously a big part of Hoover's plan.

How much does it affect Monday's substate match?

A LOT.

With him, I think Hoover was the favorite in that substate. Without him, Dowling should control the game. He is a game breaker. The type of player that you just can't replace.

It won't affect them that much. He's a good player but the team can manage without him, they do have other good players besides him.

I agree that Hoover has other good players. But they do not have any other DI players nor do they have another Player of the Year. Hoover will still be competitive without Hus, but you absolutely cannot replace a player of that caliber. They may even win against Dowling, but any chance they had at a state championship was lost when Hus broke his leg.
