When do Kong Neyail, and Issa Samake get to start playing? I wonder how this will change their team.

Not sure, they didn't play against us on Thursday. I was wondering the same since I expected them to be in uniform.

iowalongs can probably speak to how it changes their team.

From what I've heard, Montes is more like a 4 and would move from center to forward. Issa would slot in at center. Montes seems to be a streaky shooter, but can hit the threes. They would lose quickness on the defensive side with that lineup.

Personally, I would start Issa and sub with Montes since he can be foul prone.

Can't speak to Neyail, don't know much about him. I'll say adding Samake will make GVC that much tougher.

I do have some concerns about how these kids are getting there...but that's for another discussion.

I broadcasted the Colo-Nesco and Grand View Christian Basketball games last night. It was my first time seeing the Thunder this year. The Samake addition really makes it tough for me to see them not repeating. He blocked at least 7 shots last night. Neyail was the 1st guy off the bench. The Royals played them pretty well outside of the 2nd quarter but the Thunder just have so many weapons. Samake had most of his blocks in the 1st quarter.
