Explain how PCM has dropped off a cliff? There are a ton of young teams in this conference. Not a great conference right now,there are some bad teams in here no doubt, but the JSPC, Gilbert,North Polk, PCM will still be a challenge any night. Disrespecting teams every team in a conference not a good way to welcome yourself in.

I'm just looking forward to wrestling a schedule similar to yours; although (and you can confirm) a lofty regular season record doesn't necessarily translate into success down the stretch. Incidently, everyone knows why we're joining the HOIC, right?

I will agree there are many wrestlers with high win totals that might not do a thing at state or may not even go depending on their sectionals and districts. This conference has been great before and I could see it coming back with Saydels help sometime soon.

The HOI is weaker than it once was but for the most part,(except those that transfer) kids wrestle the schedule their school has so props to all HOI wrestlers, coach and fans. For that matter props to any kid who is willing to stick it out for the toughest but most rewarding sport in HS sports.

OK, I'll bite Saydel, why are you joining the HOIC? Is it because Grandview Park Baptist left/got the boot and the HOIC needed a 10th team?

congratulations to Saydel on finishing 5th out of 6 teams at sectionals. Way to show those Heart of Iowa teams who is going to win. You just got stomped by three of the four Heart of Iowa teams in the sectionals. Talking trash and then getting beat that bad makes you look like an idiot.

first of all Ballard placed third at the RRC tournament, out of ten teams, so they are not really "middle of the pack". Where as North Polk finished fourth in the Heart of Iowa tournament, out of nine teams. So North Polk is more middle of the pack in their conference than Ballard is.

This whole thing started because you said "even we have a chance at a title" and then went on to criticize the entire Heart of Iowa and say how bad they were and how good you were going to look when you joined. That is clearly not the case after what we saw yesterday. You would still finish in the bottom half in the Heart of Iowa.
