East fumble 9 min in 4th Heelan ball on own 40 31-21 Sc East

If anyone saw the Heelan game can you explain why East on 4th and goal at the 1 at the end of the fourth after racking up 200+ yards on the ground attempts to throw???????

What the... Maybe I am missing something but is there something going on where now the public schools have to try to give the game to the privates?

Maybe because over 100+ of those 200 yds came on two plays where the RB was stuffed at the LOS, but bounced it outside and was off because the defense lost outside contain...a mistake that was as much--or more--on the defense as it was a good play by the other offense. Running room inside was at a premium for both teams for much of the game.
