Wayne went away from Kiefer way too quickly, IMO. HLV likely wins the game, anyway, but Wayne tried to pass way too often and too early. The passing game has been awful all year and you've got a thoroughbred in your backfield. Ride him to the finish line.

I'm guessing Kiefer had over 200 tonight, but HLV did a good job of limiting the 10-15 yard chunk gains from him. He's going to bust off some really big runs sooner or later no matter what you do, but HLV's defense came to play.

Edit: Clayton had 218 yards and 4 touchdowns on 26 carries. Two of those TD's were 72 and 48(?) yards, so like I said, HLV did a good job limiting the 10-15 yard chunks. But the coaches should have given him at least 40 carries last night; the more you feed him, the more big plays like those two TD's he's going to get you. And that was going to be Wayne's only chance to win last night.
