DSM Roosevelt

Love the run DSM Roosevelt is on but Centennial and SE Polk both beat them by 3+ TD's, may be more for Centennial with Gates 100%

Maybe, but DSM Roosevelt beat Ft Dodge....and SE Polk needed a last 2nd FG to also beat Ft Dodge. That game might be closer than you think.

If you're making those kinds of comparisons:
Roosevelt beat Fort Dodge by 2. Centennial had the running clock going until Fort Dodge scored a couple times against the 2's.
Roosevelt beat Marshalltown by 2 TDs. Centennial's starting defense didn't give up a single first down to M'town in 8 possessions.

Of the two games left, SE Polk is the game that DM Roosevelt has at least a chance to win.

SEP and Centennial are pretty similar as far as how physical they are up front. If Roosevelt hangs with either, it's because of self-inflicted wounds like turnovers and/or penalties. I think things at the LOS will be pretty one-sided in both of those games.

Great example of how the games will be decided by the LOS, DMR has a few playmakers on offense, and were held in check vs a good defensive team like Ankeny; SEP and AC have similar defenses

Who on this Des Moines Roosevelt team are making the difference in 2019? Most years they(Roosevelt) seems like an afterthought. This year, they're much improved. Usually there's one or two players that make that kind of change. Who are they and what do they play on the field?

Interesting. Still. In high school it seems like it's a player or two. If their coach makes that big of a difference, awesome on him!
