Don Bosco/Tri County Thornburg

I heard a rumor that Tri County cancelled their final regular season game with Don Bosco. Can anyone confirm this or know why?

That would kind of irritate me but admittedly make me chuckle just a little bit as well, just a little, not a lot.

If true, unfortunate for both teams. High school football is so finite, its really too bad when the kids don't get a full schedule.

It's tough for some of these smaller schools to put eight players on the field for a full nine week season. Especially eight players that can hold their own against some of the larger teams. Tri-County only has 16 players which injuries and ineligibility (not saying that is the case, just a possibility) can devastate you quickly. I've often wondered if the state has looked at implementing a six-man class to help these smaller schools out.
