The following (IMO) is one of the reasons why they will stop at nothing to ensure neither he, nor DeSantis for that matter will ever be elected (just look at the zeal of our resident TDS afflicted loon).

No doubt, the R’s better start planning on playing the ground game and banking as many votes as they possibly can before Election Day, if not they might as well plan on losing. If Trumps strategy is to cry foul if he loses…….that will be the least of all our problems.
