So, once again we find ourselves with the dilemma of Trump or... Although he’s not the preferred candidate, barring an unexpected event, the Trump juggernaut looks insurmountable. There’s no question Gator’s heros in the DOJ, Democrat Party and media are pushing and poking Trump getting the defensive, circle the wagon reaction. Not knowing the timing of all these out of control and politically motivated legal proceedings but it’s not out of the realm of possibility Trump is convicted of one or more federal crimes only to find himself the one pardoning….himself. I might pay to see this, only to revel in the pain of TDS afflicted wankers.

I don't see any way for Trump to win the general...unless we're looking at another scenario like 2016 where people vote for him secretly while publicly saying that they hate him.

Still time for things to develop before the election but that's how I see it today.

The polls for Trump in the primary are simply maddening, if they are to be believed. Nobody in my relatively small circle wants Trump as the Republican nominee.

Yeah, I encounter a lot of people on a daily basis and although few (thankfully) are large city progressives, most are not big Trump supporters. This is my hope as well. In 2015 I knew a lot of people that were intrigued by Trump and/or wanted him to be the nominee. I know almost no Republicans that want him to be the nominee this time around.

Polls like this just don’t make sense to me. Florida likes DeSantis a LOT. My BIL was a big Trump supporter previously. He lives in West Palm now and is a big DeSantis supporter and just wants Trump to go away. Lot of people he associates with feel the same way.
