I think you are pretty close on all but I would use SW over St Ansger for D4.
D5 I think is a 3 team race, Alb, Edgewood Colesburg, Clayton Ridge
D7 Hudson, Wapsie, EB, Grundy, 4 tough teams could go in any order

Add Newman in there for D4 they were rather young last year, although they really struggled against St. Ansgar and a few other top dogs.

D4 Saint Ansgar (SW drops down from 1A, but loses a lot... SW and St.A will battle for this one)
D5 Alburnett (Clayton Ridge, Maq Valley and Lisbon all have good football tradition, but I see ED-CO as the team to look out for in this district along with Alburnett. A ton returning including Preston Rochford and majority of their OL and DL back)
D6 Pekin ( Belle Plaine returns a lot, including the 2 Straight boys. BP takes this one)
D7 Hudson (East Buc returns a small Army up front and enough skill kids returning to cause some damage in that district.... Hudson 2nd... MC Newman 3rd and Wapsie 4th)
D8 Lynnville Sully (runs away with it)
D9 AHSTW
D10 LoMa

I anticipate SW being down a bit this year. They lost their stud RB and I didn’t see a ton of depth their last year. I know St Ansgar lost a lot, but my bet is on them over SW.

Is Clayton Ridge really that good. I know they were young last year and have everyone back, but they weren’t that impressive last year. I expect a battle between Alburnette and Ed Co.

What a dumb thing to say. Not even the coaches of a lot of these teams know exactly what they are working with and you’re saying that your team is going to expose them. Teams can change so much over a one year span, especially in Class A, where you can 50 kids out one year and 25 the next.

Not saying it’s not gonna happen, I’m not from that part of the state and know 0 about those teams. All I’m saying is lots can change from year to year
