Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian warned the U.S. that it would not be spared if it continues to manage what he called the “genocide in Palestine,” while speaking to the United Nations on Thursday.
“Today in New York and the United Nations, I say frankly to the American statemen who are now managing the genocide in Palestine that we do not welcome the expansion of the war in the region,” Amir-Abdollahian said. “But I warn, if the genocide in Gaza continues, they will not be spared from this fire. It is our home and West Asia is our region.”
He continued by saying his country does not compromise with any party or side and does not have reservations when it comes to the country’s security.
Amir-Abdollahian directed comments to President Biden, saying Hamas is ready to release civilian prisoners, then added that the world should support the release of 6,000 Palestinians who are also held as prisoners, though in Israel.
“In addition, why the United States itself is actually and in practice and directly involved in committing crimes against Palestinians, it is not in a position to invite others to exercise self-restraint and refrain from spreading the war,” the foreign minister said. “Therefore, we strongly warn against the uncontrollable consequences of the unlimited financial arms and operational support by the White House to the Tel Aviv regime, which have led to the expansion and added to the severity of the bombardments of the civilians and the Palestinian women and children in Gaza and the West Bank.
I understand that. But the reason they should be afraid is that the US military is still the strongest on Earth. All it'll take is one right decision by Biden and they are fvcked beyond their wildest understanding. Seems like an unnecessary taunt since he might say strike when he means stroke.
This administration will probably give them a few more billion if they promise to be nice and not say more mean things
Does anyone know the deal on 6000 Palestinian prisoners? I am not familiar with that. That’s one hell of a big prision for alittle country like Israel to maintain.

How about sending two most powerful carrier groups on the planet to the Med / Israeli Coast. One Marine amphibious assault group with 4,000 BA MF . Even without these Atlantic Fleet groups .. there are 2-3 Ohio class boomers lurking somewhere with conventional cruise missiles that could do the job.
There’s also the Pacific Fleet which always has a carrier group in the Persian.

Iran backed carpet riders have launched rocket/missile attacks 2 dozen times in the last 2 weeks at US bases. Our 1 response was hitting a depo in Syria with a couple of bombs and that depo has been hit before. So, looking pretty tough and doing virtually nothing is what he's accomplished. Do better research

How many rocket attacks equals one ballistic missile ? There have been 23 different missile attacks against US bases in Iraq and Syria by Iranian funded groups and by Iranian forces embedded in those groups .... multiple rockets per attack..... are you needing an additive payload comparison between one ballistic missile and the short range shoulder and vehicle launched rockets ?

We need one of those carrier groups off Yemen, not just the amphibious assault ship heading there. The Houtis are firing ballistic missiles across Saudi Arabia and the Saudis are a deer in the headlights right now - the Iranian backed Houtis need to be dealt with, as otherwise, they’ll attempt to close shipping through the Red Sea to the Suez, and we can’t just unilaterally deal

Measured response to our actions which killed Soleimani. Iran looked rather weak with that response.
Imagine our response if they killed a US cabinet member. Or the 2nd or 3rd most powerful member of our government. So yes, we rewarded them for their weak response by not escalating.
