Is this the toughest district in 2A.

Tougher than last year, but not the toughest.

South Tama and A-P are very tough. Union is decent. The remainder of the teams are improved from last year, but not a ton.

D3 still looks tough to me top to bottom, while D6 may have the best "two deep".

To quote Bender in the movie "The Breakfast Club", "Not even close, bud." Four of the 20 worst teams in 2A are in this district. According to BCMoore rankings, this is the 6th best of 8. His rankings: D3, D5, D1, D4, D2, D6

Carrying on the picks ATS from BC Moore:

Union is a 25 point dog to Anamosa. Union torques me off. I think they should be better, and they always underperform, costing me correct picks. So 25 points is a lot. But I'm gonna go with my wishes instead of brain, and say Anamosa rolls by 25+.

RS +31 hosting AP. 31 is a lot. Senior night for the Norse, so that should be worth a couple points. Norse looked less than stellar vs EM last week. Decisions, decisions. AP will win, but not by that much as both teams get ready for next week.

ST is a 76 point favorite over EM. Maybe without a rolling clock. But with a rolling clock, it won't be that big.

IFA is a 13 point favorite over their cross county rival. This is the toughest pick with the points this week. I think IFA is gonna cover that--probably gonna come down to PATs made tho. It will be a 2 TD game. IFA covers.
