This district has been extremely competitive like I thought it might and we could be in for a wild finish. There a lot of good teams in this district, but none that are legit state contenders. If I had to make a prediction on the final standings this would be it:
1. SV
2. Winner of Kuemper-East Sac game
3. Loser of Kuemper- East Sac game (has the tie breaker over Clarinda and Shenadoah)
4. Clarinda (has the tie breaker over Shenandoah)
That would mean a 6-3 Shenandoah would miss the playoffs, which is pretty rare. They've had a pretty successful year and things are looking up for that program. Things could also get interesting again in the playoffs with a possible rematch looming for these teams.
