Congrats to an outstanding Newell-Fonda squad. You boys played one helluva game in Gilbertville tonight. I sure would have liked to see what difference Svoboda would have made, but it is what it is.

Offensively your line was sharp in the passing game giving the QB a chance to hit the open receivers, and the defense was stout on stopping the running game.

I certainly wish you well, and have a great time in the Dome. Good luck, and congrats.

I second this. Great game. Would also have liked to see the difference with Svoboda but you can't blame injury. Great solid team. Congrats!

In my disappointment for the kids, I took an unfair shot at DB's offensive play caller. I edited it from my above post. As always, and as many of you have seen, I am an avid supporter of DB players, staff, and fans. I continue to be, and am proud of all that they have accomplished over the last few years.

I don't see how you can say that kids who work hard at being student athletes deserve to lose. Just because you don't like their fans don't put it back on the student athletes. I'm sorry but no one deserves to lose. One team just plays better and earned the win.

Not your most intelligent post, holymoly. Also, I don't know about a whole lot about many posters on the boards other than who their favorite team(s) are and who they follow, but I can say that Engine5Driver and Scobelicious from Don Bosco have been the only people on the boards that have ever invited me over to where they watch the game and introduce themselves to me. I watched the second half of the HLV/DB game this season with them and we were able to talk intelligently about the game of football and just shot the bull, very nice guys.

Again I say; that is so clear by looking at this thread. Bosco fans congratulating the NF program and community. So far no one on here has blamed the loss on losing the best player during the first drive. Actually the Bosco fans haven't blamed anyone for anything, just took the loss with grace (which can be difficult when you have an anonymous outlet such an this. So can you explain to me again how "waful" these fans are?

Congrats to Don Bosco on a Great season as well! Nothing to hang your heads about. Wish we could of seen Svoboda for a full game. Never want to see an injury like that and I'll be praying for a full recovery. Any update on him?
