Changing of the guard in the MAC?

Central scores 4 vs PV, Muscatine holds Bettendorf to zero and Burlington is getting votes in the state rankings. Is there a real changing of the guard happening in the MAC? Sounds like Central is the real deal.

I plan to go watch the game on Monday (Central v Bettendorf). If Central can put it together back to back, they .... could....go....all.....the.....way !

If Bettendorf wins, then PV v Bettendorf (following week) will be fun to watch. If PV wins that one, then flip a coin which of these teams is the best in the MAC.

Could be the most fun year in the MAC in recent memory.

Sounds like too much focus on Bettendorf...Decorah beat Blue Devils 2-1 with Mims getting a red card!

How did he get the red? Is he out for Bettendorf game?

Central had a goal off a free kick that was called back. Even on the retry they scored. The officals said the whistle hadn't been blown on the first goal even though 10 wasn't asked for and Decorah was in place!

It is true that Mims did get two yellows cards in the game. He sat out Centrals next game vs Waverly-Shell Rock and will sit out the Bettendorf game.
