Championship games moved to Monday

The IHSAA has decided to postpone Friday’s Championship Football games until Monday November 23. The decision was made based upon the National Weather Service forecast and the winter storm warning that has been issued for tomorrow.

Monday’s games will follow the same schedule. The welfare of teams traveling home on Friday in conjunction with the safety of fans traveling contributed to the decision.

Tickets sold for Friday’s games will be honored on Monday.

Spirit Lakes high powered offensive will be key for them to pull away fast AND early in the state championship game. It will be high scoring game for the Indians. 42-7 is my prediction for the final. I'm certain I'm going to be close. They have some crazy athletes up in the lakes region, I here. I'm not bias, I'm from around Cedar Falls and can't wait till Monday!!
