Big game in the MAC on Thursday night. If Central wins they stay tied for the MAC lead with PV and Muscatine.

I'll go with the home team Hounds in a close one. Long bus ride and getting Central off the artificial turf are big advantages for Burlington.

Central lost a tough one to Burlington by one.

Is Central missing one of their defenders? Lineup looked different.....

Central were missing right back Jake LaFrenz to a concussion. It changed the lineup quite a bit considering they arn't deep.

I will comment on the refering. It is a disgrace that a team like Burlington has their own hometime refs just because others don't want to make the trip.
When refs make comments like "protecting our goalie" when talking about the hometown goalie, and speaking about "our field".
I was just waiting for one of the players to call the ref daddy or the ref to call the players by their first name.

Not just Burlington, ref'ing CAN be favorable to one side or another. THink we've seen it happen in many games this year.

What happened to LaFrenz? How'd he get that concussion?

Hope he gets to come back for substate play!
