I see that Grant Peterson didn't play against Winterset last Friday. Does anyone know if he'll be playing Wed. against Norwalk? That certainly changes the picture if he's not playing. I hope he isn't significantly injured. He has over 2000 yards rushing and 23 TD's this year in 8 games, most impressive.

He is playing. The Winterset & Bondurant coach had an agreement to run JV backs last Friday.
No injury, he will be ready to go.

I had not noticed that Grant did not play. It would not surprise me that he might be feeling the effects of 240+ touches in 8 games. That is a lot of pounding week after week. It would be a shame to enter the playoffs without him 100%, but that is what you sign up for. Over 60% of their offense during the season has been run directly through him. It's a cumulative wearing-down, the old Earl Campbell story. I hope a week of rest will be helpful; he's earned it!

Week 9 non district game, with a playoff game coming on short rest, why play him, rest him, left him heal up, even if he isn't injured I am sure he is hurting in a couple of areas.

For what it's worth, he wanted to play last Friday. Extra rest was the name of the game. He was out for hands team on an onside kick and took snaps for victory formation...but that was it.

Not surprising, I'm sure he is a competitive young man. Probably smart though to give him a week to rest up. Especially smart since Bondurant ended up with the victory. It doesn't matter for district standings, but sometimes the overall record matters for tie breaker to get a home game, I believe.
