Biden with his daily whopper…

It's between you and God in the end. I'm just giving you the warning and hoping you'll come around so you avoid that fate. But at the end - its not up to me.
There might be a god. Not saying there isn’t. But there’s none of this shit meant to scare us into walking a straight line. Basically he/she/it doesnt t give a damn what we do or what happens to us.

Not an attempt at a philosophical or a theological debate, but why would such a God bother to create us if they didn't give a damn?

About the only thing I can think of that’s worse is Rocky Top on repeat
Amen….. at an SEC tournament in New Orleans, I was tossing back beverages in a piano bar with a group of other UK fans - after Rocky Vomit was played (I stepped outside to prevent my ears from bleeding), I came back in and paid the piano dude $20 to not play that song again the rest of the night

Was there after Bammer/LSU 2011 when we beat the absolute shit out of them and asked some trollop what she did for a living. Said she lived in Nashville and was pursuing music. I laughed directly in her face.

The girl was Ingrid Andress. My how the turntables. :(

I would say a replay loop of 2nd and 26.

Never before has there been a greater swing of emotion from a certain win with a huge sack- to their collective souls being ripped out .

What burns worse? Watching this or taking a piss? This is the play that ended Sabans legacy. He will never win another natty.

That’s all you got now is that fluke play on a busted coverage.

Knowing that family, lying to his momma probably doesn't crack the top 100 in Biden family dysfunctionality.
I could never. Lie to my Mother. He is doing something only a very small percentage of people could do. But you are right they are worse than usual.

And I'll tell you like I told her....

I didn't break her Waterford vase.

I really didn't. It was my sister...but I ain't no snitch. 20 years later my sister told her...not that I'm still in my feelings about it. 😂

Funny that you mention that. Growing up I often tried to lie to my mother. It didn't take many failed attempts to realize my mother (maybe all or most of them do?) had a built in lie detector for her children. She knew right away if I was full of it and did not hesitate to call me on it.

Cliffs: I didn't lie to my mother either. 🤣

I don’t lie very well to anybody. My throat seems to constrict up I finally just don’t do it. I once had a staff job where I used to report to a Vice President. Once something came up in a legal matter that was very touchy. They were trying to find someone to look at and give an opinion. The VP turned to the lawyer and said. I want Bill to do it. You can count on him telling you the exact truth about It Which was very important in the matter. I always considered it one of the greatest professional compliments I ever had.

I find this line of thought interesting given the thousands of years of human existence since JC walked the earth. Some of the greatest minds have (and greatest atheists) spent their lives devoted to reading and reasoning the notion that God exists. In many instances, those staunchly declared atheists have come to the conclusion there is a God and He is the Creator.

Further (given our culture that science is infallible) with cosmologists trying to explain the Big Bang (like, where did the particles come from to create the 'bang'?), Steven Hawking and his Multiverse theory (talk about a leap of faith!) gets endorsed without a single shred of evidence. And they throw shade at Christians for their faith?? Funny.

The distinguished physicist Paul Davies gets it... “Invoking an infinity of unseen universes to explain the unusual features of the one we do see is just as [made up] as invoking an unseen Creator. The multiverse theory may be dressed up in scientific language, but in essence it requires the same leap of faith.”

Or, as G.K. Chesterton (1874-1936) quipped: “When men stop believing in God, they don’t believe in nothing; they believe in anything.”

GDawg doesn't have to believe and I'm more than fine with it... or any other agnostics/atheists. But it is somewhat intellectually lazy to just say 'there's nothing out there'... when clearly we are here and came from somewhere. Jus' sayin'.

GDawg doesn’t grasp the real nature of God based upon his statement God doesn’t care about us and what we do….. and I get that. Based upon what he’s said before, his early faith exposure was probably forced down his throat by people who had poor views of what God is and isn’t themselves…. And his view is understandable based upon poor examples he had

GDawg, if I were to explain the essence of God in this world, it would be this…. God is Love immutable, the spirit of love with sentience. People who love others and and tend towards selflessness walk with Gods spirit. God tries to work through the hearts of mankind to further love, but we fugging screw it all up with our selfishness and stupidity. God cares, while most of us are too caught up into our own shite.

It’s not the natural order for animals to suppress their own selfishness in pursuit of the welfare of others. But enabled by a “foreign” spirit of love, humans can try and be better about it

If God was all about listening to prayers and exerting his power based upon who racked up the loudest/most numerous prayers - then UT and UF wouldn’t have racked up 30 years of straight wins v UK based upon the groans and prayers streaming out of the Bluegrass for a generation
