It’s a good thing IMO, Russia launches wave after wave of drones and cruise missiles from a handful of places in Russian. None of these waves target military targets, mostly they hit residential buildings and power/utilities in cities

I don't hate the country or the people necessarily but I agree. The use of North Korean, Chinese and Iranian military equipment and the huge escalation of using NK military personnel has justified the use of more advanced military systems imo.
I don't appreciate the fact that we're paying for it but the escalation itself is entirely on the Russian regime.
Also agree. I think a pledge not to add Ukraine to NATO (corrupt AF anyway) as well as no offensive weapons in Ukraine if Russia withdraws is extremely reasonable.
However, as I said above, this recent escalation is on Putin and Russia. Bringing NK troops into the fold is entirely ridiculous and irresponsible.

I don't think nukes in Ukraine were ever a serious concern. However, anti-ballistic missiles or a leg of an American "missile shield" being stationed in Ukraine was and is a real concern for Russia.
It's MUCH easier to terminate an intercontinental missiles during its launch phase than any other phase of its flight. Also general SAM defense so close to Russia is a concern for them.
Not to bounce back and forth on this issue on purpose but Russia has made a damn good case for why the rest of Europe needs to protect itself with such a missile/anti-air shield with their actions in Crimea and Ukraine in general since 2014. The bottom line is fvck Putin and his regime.
The bottom line is that he never invades Ukraine with a strong US President in office. Never.

Friend was on a nuclear sub before becoming a Dr. We have talked about this and he told me nukes are not necessary in Ukraine and there is already enough nukes in the Med to destroy most any country. He said that Iran could be destroyed in a matter of minutes if the order was given . I hope no nukes are ever deployed, can't be a pleasing outcome for anyone on this planet. Speaking of GLOBAL WARMING !

Like I've said earlier, WE would never allow a puppet gov't established by Russia to be set up in Mexico with missiles aimed at us. Ever. An Italian friend of mine has a family hotel business in N. Italy and has several eastern Ukrainian families who came to Italy working for them. They want nothing to do with the Ukraine and say virtually their entire region wants to be back under Russian control. This is the US sticking our nose where it's not needed.
NOW, sleepy Joe just approved anti-personnel land mines to be given to Zelensky... it's almost like he's trying to create as big a shyt show as possible for Trump... go figure.
