September 17 - The Bettendorf Bulldogs and Davenport Central sophomore game at Brady Street Stadium ended with 2:41 left in the fourth quarter due to lightning in the area. The officials decided to call the game with Bettendorf leading 28-14.
The varsity game between those two teams never started as bad weather never cleared up. After a lengthy delay, at approximately 8:15pm the officials decided to postpone the game to a later date. These two teams will now face off on September 19th at 9am at Brady Street Stadium. The gates will open up at 8am and the admission will be free.
The video I took of the storms was taken on a Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone.
