Belmond-Klemme Playing 8Man?

I am well aware of what BK's BEDS #'s are but have heard from a very reliable assoc source that they have expressed interest in playing 8man this rotation.

Anyone from BK that can confirm or deny this?

Why would they want to play 8-man. A quick peek at their lower grades actually show their enrollment INCREASING. So why drop down and be ineligible for the playoffs?

Is this still an option? I talked to one coach that wanted to do this as well, but he said that it wasn't an option anymore. I looked at the association's bylaws and didn't see anything about it. Maybe I missed it.

Interesting.....Belmond-Klemme is a 1A team this fall.

Are the rules changing for next year with an expansion of more 8 man teams? I heard Danville is going to 8man. They only had 16 dressed on Friday night.
