Ankeny Centennial

I want to see this team win it all. They have shown that they are in the top 3 in the state. Its cool to see a team build a legacy within four years of opening and have its first appearance in school history. I want to see them knock off dowling with the players they were given rather than recruited. I heard that dowlings RB is out for the season does anyone know why?

Also, "recruited"...lol. Don't need to recruit when you're the three-peat champs. And plenty of those players were "given" through the parochial grade school system. But, I digress.

Not sure if this Ankeny Centennial team has the #grit to make a deep run. To me, they look like a bunch of pretty boys that don't know the meaning of blue collar work. No way they can compete with the likes of Dowling, Valley, or the 2012 Ankeny team (greatest team ever?).

All the DesMoines suburban schools recruit, it's no different from the college programs! Congrats to Centenial, Valley's defense was better than any defense in the state, Valley offense was not very good! Sorry West DesMoines, same as Dowling, won't be surprised to see Centenial win it all.

So when Dowling beat Centennial 31-17 on Oct 14, that was a fluke in your opinion? And don't get me started on "West Des Moines" Dowling. It's not a school tied to any individual city.
